|Doug Carter, Cool Fool, Art Waves #149|
Doug Carter loved to dance as a kid growing up in Hamilton. That love brought him to visual art, as he designed covers for the 45 records he bought, and to songwriting, as he wrote music to play on his second-hand guitar. In grade 8 he and his friend Richard Newell, aka King Biscuit Boy, formed a band they called Son Richard & the Chessmen. The rest is history--fascinating Hamilton blues and art history.
